December 2007
Go Gareth! GP joins the European Tour.
New Zealander Gareth Paddison earns his card for the 2008 Season on the European Tour. After 5 years on the Challenge Tour Gareth started working with Jason in September 2006, by July 2007 Gareth had already notched up his first win in Volcans, France taking him to 7th in the Challenge Tour rankings. Despite being inside the magic top 20 for the majority of the season Gareth was just pushed out after the Grand Final. However his final order of merit finish was a career high 23rd. |

After 6 solid rounds at Tour School which included an impressive 5th round of 67 on San Roque’s Old course Gareth went on to finish 25th (the top 30 earning Their Tour card) and therefore a very well earned place on the European Tour.
Straight after the Tour School with the card in his pocket Gareth played in the Master Card Masters in Australia and his own New Zealand Open where he went on finish a very creditable 16th.
Look out for Gareth’s progress along with Carlos Rodiles and Carl Suneson on the 2008 European Tour season.
Congratulations GP! |
